About Us

Vusi Studios was founded in 2022 with a simple idea. We wanted to build automotive products the way we thought they should be built. Thoughtfully engineered, cleanly designed, and made with real intention behind every detail.

We’re a small team. Just two of us. Designers and builders who care deeply about how things work and how they feel. That means every product we release is something we’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time thinking about, refining, and rebuilding until it feels right.

From the start, we’ve approached everything from first principles. We don’t just add features or follow trends. We take things apart, question why they exist the way they do, and rebuild them in a way that feels simpler, more precise, and more considered. Every single component is designed across both hardware and software, giving us full control over how our products function and feel, and allowing us to create things in ways that haven’t really been seen before.

Everything is designed and tested in house. We prototype, iterate, and push each idea until it meets our standard. From there, we work with a small group of carefully selected manufacturing partners, both locally and overseas, to bring those designs to life without compromising on quality, detail, or intent.

Our first product, the Vanish Plate, came out of that mindset. It was never just about hiding a license plate. It was about creating something that integrated seamlessly into the car, both mechanically and visually. It taught us a lot about restraint, precision, and what it takes to make something feel truly finished.

Since then, that thinking has evolved into what we’re building now. Our current flagship, Dot, is a much clearer expression of how we see design today. It’s minimal, intentional, and built to enhance the way people create with their cars without getting in the way.

Everything we make sits at the intersection of engineering and design. We care just as much about how something is built internally as how it looks on the outside. The goal is always the same. Make it feel effortless. Make it feel right.

We’re not trying to make everything. We’re focused on building a small number of products that are executed extremely well. As we continue to grow, that approach isn’t changing.
